My only theory is that Rango & The Adjustment Bureau will be hard to dislodge. Rango is the only wide-appeal film floating around, and The Adjustment Bureau may fall to Battle: LA, but I’m banking on intellectual stimulation & Matt Damon over raw alien assault action.

Red Riding Hood and Beastly are going to cannibalize each each other to take Beastly out of the top 5, and put Hood in at the bottom.

Hi all! I’m finally bowing to spousal pressure from Tony and leaving my picks for the week.

Since I had never heard of Battle LA until I listened to the episode, I’m hoping the rest of the movie-going public has also not heard of it either. LOL! I have seen a ton of ads for Mars Needs Moms and Red Riding Hood though.

My predictions (without any additional research, HSX, etc….) are:

1. Mars Needs Moms (Yes Andrew, I’m totally taking my kids to see it so they will know to appreciate me more!)
2. Red Riding Hood (OMG… it has been hyped everywhere this week! Hopefully the teeny bopper girls all fall for the hype)
3. Rango (um…because it’s an animated lizard?)
4. Adjustment Bureau (….no reason. LOL!)
5. Battle LA

I did have Beastly at #5, but with all of the love you all gave Battle LA, I figured that I better have it in there somewhere!

Be kind to the newbie, guys (and movie watchers)!

Man, I thought I sent in my picks. They were similar to Andrew’s except 3 and 4 were reversed. Oh well, there always next week.

There is enough difference between each place that I don’t think the estimates are going to change. It may have taken me 25 weeks but it looks like I finally got it.
