I think the top 3 could be in any order. Hoping my picks are correct…
1. Moneyball – The commercials for this one make it look like it might be an interesting one to see. I’m betting a lot of people will agree.
2. Lion King – Its the Lion King. In 3D. Last weekend. I am taking a chance that Moneyball will do a little better though.
3. Dolphin Tale – Should get the kids and families that already saw the Lion King last weekend.
4. Killer Elite – This will attract a lot of people who want some action porn, Jason Stathom, or Rober Deniro
5. Abduction – The commercials for this made me go ‘bleh’ but I think this will probably do better then Contagion…
1. MoneyBall
2.Lion King
3.Dolphin Tale
4.Abduction
5.Contagion
Mrs. Beast has her picks in. I hope she doesn’t get as burned as she has the last couple of weeks…
Mrs. Beast’s picks for the weekend of September 23 – 25, 2011:
1. Lion King
2. Abduction
3. Moneyball
4. Dolphin Tale
5. Contagion
aaaaah here we go again! Will baseball score a late season hit? How loud will that lion roar, or will the dolphin soak the cat? Guesses, every one:
1) Moneyball- Brad Pitt, y’know?
2) Lion King 3D- last weekend, innit?
3) Dolphin Tale- more screens than anything else, scary
4) Abduction- if this does really well.. I don’t know…
5) Killer Elite- just because I want to see it doesn’t mean it’ll do well, I’ve learned THAT lesson already. But I can a least put it in my top 5, it has the bad@$$ pedigree enough for that.
And here are Menolly’s picks for the weekend of September 23 – 25, 2011:
1. Abduction
2. Killer Elite
3. Lion King 3D
4. Dolphin Tale
5. Drive
And we’re all in. Jon W. has told me that he’s not playing anymore.
Hope I am not too late.
1) Moneyball
2) Lion King 3D
3) Dolphin Tale
4) Abduction
5) Killer Elite
If I’m reading the preliminary numbers right it looks like Tony and Andrew managed to tie again…
I’m not sure how we managed to pull off another tie.
I always have to laugh when Andrew accesses HSX, since he has been trading there about two thirds the time I have, and is worth (in H bucks) about a fifth of what I am.
Tony, on the other hand, has been on HSX for a lot longer, about 22 times as long as me, and he is worth 8 times what I am. But he doesn’t reference HSX nearly as much.
