Well, I’m still due some sort of cataclysmic thrashing at the box office to drop me back into the bottom of the charts, but until that happens, away we go.
1) Paranormal Activity 3 – I really dislike these low-budget scare-fests, but it is Halloween, and without a new Saw movie, we are due something to scare us big at the box office.
2) The Three Musketeers – Eh, I don’t know abuot overall success of this film. It is flashy and interesting (and 3D), but can it beat out Real Steel? Maybe.
3) Footloose – I’m uncertain if this is going to drop like a rock or float like oil on the surface like Kevin Bacon’s career has.
4) Real Steel – Nice run in the top 5. It could be #3, but that’s totally determined by Footloose and the presence of a new action movie.
5) Ides of March – Slow burnout due to lack of direct genre opposition. Some might see this because there is nothing else to see in the political thriller category.

from the trailer, paranormal activity looks like they’ve left the creepiness of the first one, and traded it for a poltergeist type action horror. Meh.
Johnny english may do me over, but not as much as the mighty macs would. If I put that on my top 5, I would be sure to get dylan dogged.
