9-3/8″ using iruler.net…

My picks after snooping around some places for info:

1) The Grey – Heard good things about this movie, though not sure if I want to see it. But it’s Liam Neeson, so it should kick ass.
2) Underworld –
3) One for the Money – This is the first I’ve heard of this movie and I’ve never heard of the book. BoxOfficeMojo says that social networking sites are selling discounted tickets so that may increase seats but not necessarily increase the revenue enough to get it up there. Came close to putting this second on my list, but I’m not convinced its going to do that good considering there are only a few reviews on rotten tomatoes–normally a bad sign.
4) Red Tails –
5) Man on a ledge – I’ve seen several commercials for this. The title makes it sound forgettable but the trailers hint that something more is going on. Not sure how many people are going to be intrigued enough to check it out though…

I haven’t listened to the episode yet, so I have no idea what you all are measuring. However, judging by the monstrous 10 1/4″ posted by Jonathan, and the fact that cougron got his measurement online, I’m betting on hand size.

That said, I’m not posting a measurement until I find out what I should measure first.

1) The Grey – I honestly don’t have any idea what to think about this movie. It is The Edge with Liam Neeson and a pack of canis lupus as opposed to Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin. Could be strong. Could flounder trying to find an audience, cause I have no idea who they are aiming at with it, but it ain’t me.

2) Underworld Awakening – Seems a safe choice.

3) Man on a Ledge – Uncertain, to be honest. Gotta say, I think Sam Worthington looks like he fell out of the ’80’s with that haircut though.

4) Red Tails – Hrmm….I heard a lot of good things about this, so my interest has increased. It may hold on.

5) One for the Money – With the information delivered by cougron and some prior knowledge of the book series, it might get some play with the female of the species. They do seem to like Katherine Heigl for some reason.

Isn’t this whole show a “measurement” exercise? Anyways, here are my picks:
1. The Gray
2. Red Tails
3. One For The Money
4. Underworld
5. Man on a Ledge

Jeff (9 1/16″)

my(9 1/2) picks for the weekend of January 27 – 29, 2012:
1. Man On A Ledge
2. Underworld
3. One For The Money
4. Red Tails
5. The Grey

This measurement is highly dependent on how much you can stretch, you know….

Mrs. Beast’s (8) picks for the weekend of January 27 – 29, 2012:
1. Man On A Ledge
2. One For The Money
3. The Grey
4. Underworld
5. Red Tails

So because I beat him with my first picks, my husband wants me to do this again…
1. The Grey (Liam Neeason and giant puppies, you can’t go wrong)
2. Underworld the Awakening (one good wolf movie could use another)
3. Man on a Ledge
4. One for the Money
5. Red Tails

Sadly, these picks are measurement free

Monty says:
1) The Grey
2) One for the Money
3) Man on a Ledge
4) Red Tails
4) Underworld 4

AND now I’ve conned Monty’s Mom to play.
Let’s call her daHobbit:
1) The Grey
2) One for the Money
3) Underworld 4
4) Red Tails
5) Man on a Ledge

Menolly’s (8) picks for the weekend of January 27 – 29, 2012:
1. Man On A Ledge
2. Underworld
3. Red Tails
4. The Grey
5. Contraband

I dunno, Father Beast. Forcing the straightest line I can manage (at quite a bit of discomfort) only gained me an eighth of an inch over the measurement I took naturally. That said, I don’t know how the inspirational measurement was officially made.

My picks for the weekend of February 3 – 5, 2012
1. The Woman In Black
2. Chronicle
3. Underworld
4. The Grey
5. Big Miracle

I know it’s a bit early, but I just figured I’d post and see who decided to copy me.
