Looks like the fight this week is over 2nd place with the loser getting 3rd. I think Tony, Jonathan, Lena, and Father Beast got it right so I’m ditto’ing them this week:

1) Hunger Games
2) Wrath of the Titans
3) Mirror Mirror
4) 21 Jump Street
5) The Lorax

I’ll probably go see Wrath of the Titans if I don’t get totally wrapped up in Emerald City Comic Con.

Sorry William, but I also have to ‘ditto’ Father Beast- I just can’t get behind the ‘Mirror Mirror’ take on Snow White (not that I’m in favor of the other take either….)

1) Hunger Games- again. Heck, a 2/3 drop is still something like $50 million, and I doubt it’ll drop that much.
2) Wrath of the Titans- the trailers scare me, not b/c they are bad, but actually make the movie look better that ‘Clash’ (which really did kinda suck.) I may have to see this.
3) Mirror Mirror- I can’t see this doing all that well, but the kind of fail it would need to be lower is highly unlikely, says I.
4) 21 Jump Street- why not? No real competition for this type of movie.
5) The Lorax- kids movies do remain strong, but I think we’ve passed into the “no. we’re not going to see it (again), I’ll buy you the dvd” phase by now.

here’s my april fools picks for next weekend
1. Titanic 3D obviously the only non sci-fi movie on the top ten grossers of all time going 3D is going to make huge amounts of money.
2. Mirror Mirror. making the word of mouth buzz to come back big.
3. 21 Jump street. they need a stupid movie, and still has no competition.
4. Wrath of the titans. big drop for the mumbling man.
5. American wedding pie reunion. there are enough die hard fans living in their wives basements to bum enough money to see this, but not enough to put it higher.

unfortunately, Hunger Games drops drastically since everyone who wanted to see it already has, and nobody can stomach to see it twice.

Just kidding on my picks I made yesterday. April Fools!

Now, for real. My picks for the weekend of April 6 – 8, 2012:
1. American Reunion
2. Hunger Games
3. Titanic
4. 21 Jump Street
5. Mirror Mirror

Now, I got these in before William records tonight, does anyone want to ditto me? I mean, I have 3 25’s in a row now.

Yeowtch! I made an error. I meant Wrath of Titans for my number 4 pick on my real picks. I was getting mixed up.

Just to be totally clear:
My picks for the weekend of April 6 – 8, 2012:
1. American Reunion
2. Hunger Games
3. Titanic
4. Wrath Of Titans
5. Mirror Mirror.

Now, does anyone want to ditto one of my three sets of picks?
