Before I forget, here are my picks for this weekend.
1) Brave – Let’s here it for Pixar, because this will crush all that stands before it. Or, to be thematic, it will pin its opponents back to the wall with a fusillade of arrows.
2) Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter – This is kind of a question mark, but it looks pretty good and will be an interesting counterpoint for everyone who couldn’t get into sold-out theaters for Brave.
3) Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted – It has nowhere to go but down with Brave on the screen.
4) Prometheus – Ehhh….it’s going down, only question is, how fast…
5) Snow White & the Huntsman – Same as above.
