I’m seriously considering the possibility that BD has access to a time machine or something.
Yeah, I really did luck out on ZD30, didn’t I? (Still think avoiding Movie 43 was an easy choice 😉
hmmm, so let’s see, I’ll pick today…. (if I do well, I’d guess I DO have that time viewer, er, um, machine.)
Warning: this weekend will suck, even outside of the mediocre new releases, b/c it is superbowl weekend…
1) Warm Bodies- currently doing very well on RT, it also has the advantage of counter programming against football. Aaaaand it won’t have to do much to win the week.
2) Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters- not having the advantage of counter programming against a football audience, this could really fall a LOT. Here’s me hoping it doesn’t.
3)Mama- could fall past #4 & 5, or not. Has the advantage of being not like football and (I think?) atypically skewed to a female audience.
4) Zero Dark 30- I think it’ll fall slowly (again) and land about here.
5) Silver Linings Playbook- see comment for #4, above. Except that they could swap….
No I’m NOT picking that Stallone thing. While it might have some camp charm, see the AHnold movie from two weeks back for a good reason to avoid risk & leave it out…..
