#1 Ride Along from Universal opened at #1 with a gross of $41.5 million in 2,663 theaters.  Budget was $25 million.

#2 Lone Survivor from Universal fell from #1 to #2 with a gross of $22.1 million (-41.7%) in 2,989 theaters (+114).  Total gross to date is $72.9 million.  Budget was $40 million.

#3 The Nut Job from Open Road Films opened at #3 with a gross of $19.4 million in 3,427 theaters.  Budget was $42 million.

#4 Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit from Paramount opened at #4 with a gross of $15.5 million in 3,387 theaters.  Budget was $60 million.

#5 Frozen from Buena Vista fell from #2 to #5 with a gross of $11.8 million (-20.1%) in 2,979 theaters (-260).  Total gross to date is $332.4 million.  Budget was $150 million.

#6 American Hustle from Sony/Columbiafell from #5 to #6 with a gross of $9.9 million (+18.8%) in 2,204 theaters (-425).  Total gross to date is $115.7 million.  Budget was $40 million.
