#2 Lone Survivor from Universal held at #2 with a gross of $12.9 million (-41.5%) in 3,162 theaters (+173).  Total gross to date is $93.9 million.  Budget was $40 million.

#3 The Nut Job from Open Road Films held at #3 with a gross of $12.1 million (-37.7%) in 3,472 theaters (+45).  Total gross to date is $40.1 million.  Budget was $42 million.

#4 Frozen from Buena Vista rose from #5 to #4 with a gross of $9.11 million (-22.5%) in 2,757 theaters (-222).  Total gross to date is $347.9 million.  Budget was $150 million.

The combined gross of the top 12 movies this weekend was $97.9 million.
