I usually make my picks on Wednesday but with xmen opening lower then expected and rumors of Super 8 opening weak I decided that I better let my poorly informed brain stew the predictions for a few more days. I’m not sure the flavor improved any. Here we go:

1. Super 8 – I had a hard time deciding if this movie was going to do better then xmen, but I like Abrams so I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt.
2. Xmen First Class – I saw the movie and it was ok. definitely better then the third xmen (didn’t see wolverine). But it opened poorly versus expectations and I don’t think it’s good enough to recover.
3. Hangover II – still got to see this. Think it’s going to be close with number 4…
4. Kung-Fu Panda 2 – still got to see this one too.
5. Pirates of the Caribbean – had a hard time deciding fifth between this and Judy Moody. But I’m “old” (over 15), so screw the kid flick.

1) Super 8
2) X-Men: First Class
3) Hangover II
4) Kung Fu Panda II
5) Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer
#WWRD – #FKM

running behind, and not the best week to wing it:
1) Super 8
2) X-Men First Class (best X-men movie yet, I think)
3) KungFu Panda 2
4) Hangover 2
5) Bridesmaids

1) Super 8
2) X-Men: First Class
3) Hangover II
4) Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer
5) KungFu Panda II
