Menolly’s picks for the weekend of August 10 – 12, 2012:
1. Bourne Legacy
2. Dark Knight
3. Total Recall
4. Hope Springs
5. The Campaign
Was gonna just ditto Jeff, but think Bourne might bleed Recall (or I’m still just underwhelmed by remake du jour.)
1) Bourne Legacy- in the fourth week, Hawkeye takes the Bat
2) The Campaign- I may not see it, but the trailers did look funny (of course, I thought the same about the 3 Stooges movie.)
3) The Dark Knight Rises- finally saw it and loved it. Looking forward to Tony’s defense of it, should that be recorded….
4) Hope Floats- I may be watching the wrong tv, but I swear I’ve been seeing ads about this for months– and that kind of repetition works on this movies audience, I think.
5) Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3- looking at the % falls for Ice Age 4, it’s obvious- kids movies fall at a slower rate.
It looks like anyone (if anyone) who put Nitro Circus in their top 5 is going to be Dylan Dogged.
HSX has it listed in wide release with 800 theaters.
no matter what your wife tells you, 800 is not wide.
looks like I just barely squaked in a 25 this week. Good thing that kid is wimpy…
