1.) The Hobbit – no brainer
2.) Rise of the Guardians – I’m thinking the christmas tie in will keep this one aloat longer
3.) Skyfall –
4.) Lincoln –
5.) Life of Pi –

Well, while recovering from seeing The Hobbit as a midnight show, here are my picks.

1) The Hobbit – DUH!

2) Skyfall – Longer legs than Rise of the Guardians.

3) Rise of the Guardian – Solid and running along for Christmas.

4) Twi-hard: Breaking Ass Fart 2 – Can someone just end this stuff and get it off the screen? I want to see the end. And we get to see the Host next…great….

5) Lincoln – Again with stronger base.

I was just gonna slot The Hobbit in at #1 and drop everything else, just axing the sparklies, but I do have to tweak a bit (or, to put it another way, ‘Ditto CougRon’) :

1) The Hobbit- duh. Monty & I see this in HFR tomorrow. Unreasonably geeked about it.

2) Rise of the Guardian- for a slow start, this sure has legs. Slower fall plus higher screens means don’t bet against the kids movie.

3) Skyfall- for those that don’t get fantasy? Bond still going strong.

4) Lincoln- oscar-bait also still going strong. Bet it’s really good too. (Lena said so!)

5) Life of Pi- even if the sparklies could take it, I’d pick this. I can’t see it in theater yet, and I want to, so it has to stay in the top 5!
