I haven’t really been paying attention to what’s been coming out. it’s been all pretty boring lately. Going to take my best guess for this weekend.
came this close to putting the ditto on Jeff…
1) Hobbit: Unexpected Journey
2) Jack Reacher
3) this is 40
4) Monsters Inc in 3d
5) rise of the guardians
Ok, her we go:
1) The Hobbit- looked great in 48 fps (if you didn’t listen to Scott’s review, go do so!), and not even a questions for #1 again.
2) Jack Reacher- in the end, it was that Rolling Stone (!) liked it that made me give it the nod over #3
3) This is 40- and the ‘R’ rating helped knocked (up:) this one back.
4) Rise of the Guardians- what, no Monsters Inc. 3D? Nope, not on Christmas weekend. Maybe later, but not against this one on this weekend.
5) Lincoln- finally a weekend for people who haven’t seen it yet to do so.
Oh and my first (and maybe only) Art House pick, for purely personal/sentimental reasons, is:
On The Road
(though I kinda expect Zero Dark 30 to kick it’s tail)
